Yesterday was a great day, I participated in the Livestrong Challenge in San Jose. Not only was it fun to ride with the "Spike the Wonder Dog" team and do a quick 50 mile loop (54 miles if you count the fact that we missed a turn and it took 2 miles to figure it out..)

I also and met the man himself, Lance, on stage with the rest of the team who won the award for the best team jersey.

I had the pleasure of competing in the Sea Otter Classic over the weekend. The first time I did it was back in 1994 but I have had a few years of missing it since then. To change things up a bit, I raced in the Single Speed category since I just picked one up about 8 weeks ago. In some ways it was the same, in others, it was very different.
